CAOF HOLDS 15th GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING
Members of the coalition for the advancement of organic farming recently held its 15th General Assembly meeting at the Bolgatanga Catholic Social Centre. The meeting was to among other things discuss the challenges facing the coalition during this time of a pandemic and the exit of its main donor. Christian Aid which has been the main donor exited in September, 2019 and CAOF has since not been able to replace them.
Speaking to welcome members to the General Assembly Meeting, the chairman of the Coalition Mr Anoah Tuule Peter, bemoaned the regular absence of some members to the general assembly meetings and asked those members to desist from such acts or quit officially if they are no longer interested in the aims and objectives of the coalition.
The meeting concluded with several bold initiatives taken to sustain and move the coalition forward. In conclusion the treasurer, Madam Priscilla Nyaaba of Youth Harvest Foundation tasked the secretariat staff to work hard towards the achievement of the goals set by the coalition.
